DRIVING RECORDS FOR MINORS
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles has expanded its internet services to allow parental access to a minor's driving history.
The Jeffrey Klapatch Act went into effect Jan. 1, 2007 - the legacy of a Lakeland teenager who died tragically in 2005. The new law provides a system that allows either parent of a minor, a guardian, or other responsible adult who signed a minor's application for a driver's license, to have internet access to inspect the minor's driver history record.
If you are a parent or guardian, you may access the driving history of your minor child by clicking here...
You will need to enter the driver license number, the last four digits of the minor's Social Security number and the minor's date of birth.
