LIFETIME & 5 YEAR LICENSES
Lifetime and 5 year hunting and fishing licenses are only available to Florida residents.
Note: To qualify for any resident hunting and fishing license proof of residency is required. You must provide Date of Birth along with any one of the following for proof of residency:
- Florida DL or ID # (issued after Jan. 1, 2010 and valid for 6 or more months)
- Customer ID# (number already in TLS system)
- Social Security # & FL Homestead Exemption
- Social Security # & FL Voter Registration
- Social Security # & FL Landlord Certification
- Social Security # & FL Military Orders
- Social Security # & FL Student ID Card - 18 or Under
- Social Security # & Parents Proof of Residency
Note: Non-resident hunting and fishing licenses may be purchased by anyone.
In Polk County, these licenses are only available at the Tax Collector's Office as follows:
- A five year freshwater fishing license, for those age 16 through 64 years old, is $79.00;
- A five year saltwater
fishing license, for those age 16 through 64 years old, is $79.00
and does not include snook, lobster or tarpon tags; and,

A five year hunting license, for those age
15 through 64 years old, is $79.00 and does not include management
area stamp, archery, muzzleloader, turkey, deer and state waterfowl
stamps.
A lifetime freshwater fishing license:
- For those age 4
years old and younger is $126.50;
- For those age 5
through 12 years old, it is $226.50; and,
- For those age 13 years old and older, it
is $301.50.
A lifetime salt water
fishing license, including lobster and snook permits:
- For those age 4
years old and younger is $126.50;
- For those age 5
through 12 years old, it is $226.50; and,
- For those age 13 years
old and older, it is $301.50.
A lifetime hunting
license including management area, muzzleloader, archery, turkey, deer and
waterfowl permits:
- For those age 4
years old and younger is $201.50;
- For those age 5
through 12 years old, it is $351.50; and,
- For those age 13 years
old and older, it is $501.50.
A lifetime sportsman's
license including hunting, freshwater and saltwater fishing licenses as well as management area, archery, crossbow, muzzloading gun, deer turkey, Florida waterfowl, snook and lobster permits:
- For those age 4
years old and younger is $401.50;
- For those age 5
through 12 years old, it is $701.50;
- For those age 13
through 63 years old, it is $1001.50; and,
- For those age 64 years old and older, it
is $13.50.
Hunting and
fishing licenses may be purchased at at one of the Tax Collector's Service Centers.
