NOTICE OF UNPAID 2001 TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES

The Tax Collector's Office for Polk County, Florida has published a newspaper supplement entitled "Notice Of Unpaid 2001 Tangible Personal Property Taxes."
This is an advertisement of delinquent tangible personal property taxes in a newspaper of local circulation that is required by state law. The law also specifies how and when the advertisements are to be placed. In this case, delinquent tangible personal property taxes were advertised one time in 1,200 newspapers.
Based on a quote process, the newspaper is selected on the basis of the lowest advertising price. This year the lowest price was quoted by The Frostproof News. The cost of advertising is paid for by delinquent tangible personal property owners.
