KIDS' TAG ART EXPANDS
KIDS' TAG ART PROJECT EXPANDS TO ALL POLK SCHOOLS
BARTOW, Florida/ PR Free/ April 20, 2007
5th graders from private and charter schools are invited to participate with public schools this year.
Kids' Tag Art, a county-wide, fifth grade art project hosted by the Polk County Tax Collector's office, in conjunction with Central Florida Eurocars and Douglass Screen Printers, is inviting interested public, charter and private schools in Polk to participate.
The program, which brought on board over 50 elementary schools in its first year, provides a curriculum for 5th graders to design their own license plate art, which for a nominal fee, can be printed and purchased. All the proceeds from the sale of the tags stays in each school's art department.
Last year, Kids Tag Art raised over $15,000 with some classrooms receiving over $750 to be used to purchase art supplies.
