NEW ADVERSE POSSESSION LAW

New Law Changes Quirky Adverse Possessions

BARTOW, Florida/ PR Free/ June 2, 2011

Polk's Tax Collector, Property Appraiser and Legislative Delegation Member sought to change adverse possession laws to better protect regular property owners from a quirky property taking measure. On Thursday June 2, 2011, Governor Scott signed the measure into law.
