3% PROPERTY TAX PAYMENT DISCOUNT DEADLINE APPROACHES

Joe G. Tedder, Tax Collector, reminds property
owners that property tax payments are now due and
that Friday, December 31st is the last day to
qualify for a 3% discount on early payment of real
estate and tangible personal property taxes.
Tax payments that are mailed and postmarked after
December 31st do not qualify for the 3% discount.
Mail payments to:
P.O. Box 1189, Bartow, FL 33831-1189.
Property taxes may be dropped-off at any Tax Collector Office location during regular business
hours or paid in person at: The Tax Collector’s
Main Office in Bartow at 430 E. Main Street; The
Lakeland Branch & Tag Office in the Polk County
Government Center at 930 E. Parker Street; and,
The Lake Wales Branch & Tag Office in the Polk
County Government Center at 642 State Road 60.
