Online Property Tax Payment Costs
Convenience Fees - Convenience fees are charged for online property tax payments.
Online Payment Options: Online customers may use their Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express to facilitate online property tax payments.
E-Checks - Customers may also use an e-check to facilitate online property tax payments. E-check payments are made from a regular checking account only (cashiers checks, money market checks and credit card checks, etc., are not accepted).
Note: Once your online transaction has been confirmed, you can expect to receive your hard copy receipt and materials by mail within 5 business days.
Attention: The online payment validation only confirms your transaction and does not replace or serve as a temporary substitute for a hard copy receipt.
Your hard copy receipt, which you can expect to receive by mail within 5 business days from date of your online payment, authenticates your payment obligation and lawful compliance.
Note: The Tax Collector's Office processes transactions for over thirty different taxing authorities operating in Polk County. Because of state law, third party internet provider costs, and commercial business practices/policies costs vary by transaction type.
The Tax Collector's Office uses CollectMax/Manatron for account searches and Point & Pay to conduct online property tax payments and county local business tax payments.
