Tax Collector’s Office Launches A New Website

The Tax Collector’s Office for Polk County (TCPC) is proud to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website at www.PolkTaxes.com. The new site features a streamlined, modern design, improved functionality, and easy access to essential information to help the residents of Polk County navigate services such as: Driver licenses and I.D. cards; motor vehicle registrations, decals, license plates, titles and disabled person parking placards; real estate and tangible personal property taxes; county local business taxes; tourist development taxes; concealed weapons license applications and renewals; and other services.

The new comprehensive website provides easier access to make online payments for auto, boats, and mobile homes registration renewals; driver license & I.D. card renewals; vehicle titles, real estate & tangible personal property tax payments, local business tax renewals; tourist development tax remittance payments; and Florida hunting & fishing license purchases.

TCPC’s new website has also simplified the appointment process for residents seeking appointments for driver license, I.D. card, road test, written tests, and concealed weapon services. The new website will be updated on a regular basis with new and improved programs & services, essential news for residents such as upcoming tax deadlines, regulatory changes, and office closures.
