Renewals and Replacements

Individuals seeking to renew their Driver License or ID Card may be eligible to renew online. Online services for available Driver License and ID Card transactions are made at MyDMV Portal.

Driver License and ID Card renewals or replacements may also be conducted at a Tax Collector’s Service Center with an appointment. Prior to an appointment, individuals seeking a renewal or replacement should review and meet the needed requirements, including REAL ID compliance. Current Florida Resident Seeking an Address Change

Driver License and ID Card address changes may be eligible for online processing. Online services for Driver License and ID Card address changes are made at MyDMV Portal.

Driver License and ID Card address changes may also be conducted at a Tax Collector’s Service Center with an appointment. Prior to an appointment, individuals seeking an address change should complete FLHSMV’s Certification of Address Form. The completed form, including required documentation, should be submitted at the time of their appointment.

Please note: Any customer who passes the Class E Knowledge or Driving Skills Test through an authorized Third-Party Administrator may be randomly selected for a mandatory re-test without prior notice. Customer test records are randomly flagged for mandatory re-testing by the State’s system at the time of driver’s license issuance. Reference Florida Statute 322.56(3)(b) and (e).
