Polk County Tax Collector’s Office Will Be Closed for Thanksgiving

The Polk County Tax Collector’s Office will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday, November 24-25, 2022. Our office will resume regular business hours on Monday, November 28, 2022.

The Tax Collector’s Office for Polk County reminds Polk County property owners that Wednesday, November 30 is the last day to take advantage of the 4% discount awarded to taxpayers who make their property tax payment in November. Payments must be postmarked before Wednesday, November 30. If paid online, residents have until 11:59 PM, November 30. Residents can also walk-in or drop-off a payment to any of our offices until 5:00 PM, November 30.
