Polk County Tax Collector’s Office Will Be Closed Monday for MLK Day

On Monday, January 17, 2022 the Polk County Tax Collector’s service centers throughout Polk County will be closed for business in observance of Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Day. MLK day is also the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service. There are many ways to serve! To find out more about the national day of service and how to get involved, go to www.mlkday.gov.

The American Legion Tag Agency in Winter Haven will also be closed. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Polk County residents in need of renewing their vehicle registration can still do so using the KIOSK services available at the Oakbridge and Grove Park Publix locations in Lakeland.

Customers are reminded that appointments are required for all driver license, I.D. card, road test, written test, and concealed weapon services conducted in our service centers.
