LAKELAND, Fla. – People in Polk County have another new option for services like vehicle registration renewals, title transfers, and parking placards; the Polk County Tax Collector’s partnership with private tag agency Dealer Services Network (DSN) means another location is now available to customers. Express Auto Tags of North Lakeland is now open!
Express Auto Tags of North Lakeland, located at 4933 US Highway 98 North, brings extended hours for services. In addition to its Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. hours, its Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to noon. Customers should note, additional fees are charged at this private tag agency location.
“We continue to focus our efforts on curbing wait times across Tax Collector Service Centers,” Tax Collector Joe Tedder explained, “and we hope our growing partnership with the DSN will help us do that.”
In a single day, Tax Collector Service Centers combined may serve about 2,000 people; Express Auto Tags of North Lakeland will join in the work to meet this demand for services in Polk County.
“This partnership saves taxpayers money, reduces government employees, and provides options for citizens with the extended workday and Saturday hours offered,” Tedder added.
