Tax Collector’s Office Will Be Closed Monday For Memorial Day

Office Closed on Memorial Day 2021

The Tax Collector’s Office for Polk County will be closed on Monday, May 31, 2021 in observance of
Memorial Day. We will resume our regular business hours on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. The Tax
Collector’s Office is proud to observe Memorial Day, a day for remembering and honoring the military
personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

The American Legion Tag Agency in Winter Haven will also be closed. Regular office hours will
resume on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

Polk County residents in need of renewing their vehicle registration can still do so using the KIOSK
services available at the Oakbridge and Grove Park Publix locations in Lakeland.

Customers are reminded that appointments are required for all driver license, I.D. card, road test,
written test, and concealed weapon services conducted in our service centers.
