POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The Office of the Tax Collector for Polk County’s (TCPC) five service center locations (Bartow, Davenport, Lake Alfred, Lake Wales, Lakeland) and Call Center will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, April 6.
Polk County residents who need immediate tag and title services during this time are encouraged to take advantage of the Tax Collector’s private tag agency partners Express Auto Tags of North Lakeland, First Lakeland Tag Agency, and Express Auto Tags of Winter Haven. These locations will remain open for regular business hours during this time (9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday). Additionally, KIOSK service is available in Lakeland at the Grove Park Publix location.
