Truth in Millage (TRIM) Notices have been mailed by Property Appraiser’s Office!

Release Date – Wednesday, August 18, 2021:

Notice of Proposed Property Taxes, or Truth in Millage (TRIM) Notices, provide property owners information pertaining to their property assessed value and proposed property taxes for the current year.

The Property Appraiser’s Office mailed the 2021 Truth in Millage (TRIM) Notices on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Additionally, the TRIM notices are now available for viewing on the Property Appraiser’ss website at www.polkpa.org.

Property owners with questions regarding their 2021 TRIM notices or taxable values and who would like to speak to a deputy property appraiser and/or make an appeal to the Value Adjustment Board (VAB) may contact the Property Appraiser’s office by telephone at (863) 534-4777 or by email at paoffice@polk-county.net.  Property owners must make appeals by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021.
